City Hall Wedding Photography in NYC
A weekday ceremony, the people beside you and portraits around the city. We photograph City Hall elopements and intimate weddings with a documentary eye, from the Manhattan Marriage Bureau to the places you choose afterward.

The ceremony, and your time together
Our City Hall photography follows your weekday ceremony and the moments around it, with editorial portraits as part of the same collection. Afterward, a portrait session lets you slow down and spend time together with the city around you.
A planning consultation by phone or email helps shape the photo locations and timing. Choose the coverage around the moments that matter to you.
Build a workable photo plan
Start with the appointment
Tell us which City Clerk office you have chosen and your ceremony appointment time. These details help define where the photographic plan begins.
Choose portraits with purpose
Share the settings you like and how much walking you want to do. Travel and changes of location belong in the timeline alongside the photographs.
Include your people
Plan the witness and photographer within the office’s companion allowance. The City Clerk currently allows four accompanying attendees, including witnesses; confirm the rules attached to your appointment.

Your ceremony and your photography are separate arrangements
Book the marriage license and ceremony through the official City Clerk process. The Manhattan Marriage Bureau is at 141 Worth Street. A photography booking does not reserve your official appointment.
The usual license requires a 24-hour wait before marrying and is valid for 60 days. The $35 license and $25 Clerk ceremony fees are separate government charges. Our guide links the current identification, witness and attendee information.
From your first idea to the photographs
Start with your plans
Choose a date or a possible date range and tell us what you imagine: a ceremony and portraits, or more of your wedding day.
Talk through the photography
Discuss the moments you want photographed, the places you have in mind and the coverage that fits. A consultation helps turn those choices into a photo plan.
