Jenna & Steve’s wedding at Frank’s in Brooklyn

Jenna and Steve gathered friends and immediate family at Frank’s in Brooklyn for a wedding centered on dinner and dancing. Their plans were intimate, colorful and relaxed, with photographs on film.

A courtyard ceremony and dinner with their people

Their first email described “just our loved ones gathered for dinner and some dancin’.” They rented a small Brooklyn restaurant and invited guests to dress in “festive cocktail,” setting a playful tone for the evening.

Street portraits and a courtyard ceremony led into dinner with their closest people. The restaurant brought its own character and atmosphere; the autumnal colors and guests’ personal style made the celebration feel like theirs.

A night on film

Steve is a fellow photographer, so their choice of film was especially meaningful to us. They connected with the colors and feeling of our film photographs. Film’s grain, texture and subtle color variations suited the intimate restaurant setting.

Alongside the portraits, the collection keeps the conversations, reactions and dancing. It tells the story of the people and atmosphere they brought together for one evening.
