Elope Me · Brooklyn, New York
Brooklyn Botanic Garden Elopement Photographer
A small Garden ceremony, portraits among the trees and time with your people. We photograph Brooklyn Botanic Garden elopements and micro-weddings with a mix of documentary storytelling and editorial portraits.

Keep the setting. Keep the feeling.

Martha and Tyler began with a morning Garden ceremony and family portraits, then celebrated over brunch and met friends at BABA on Withers that evening. Their day left room for photographs, conversations and a pause between gatherings.
That balance shapes our approach to Brooklyn Botanic Garden elopement photography. We follow the ceremony and the small exchanges around it, then make space for portraits within the access and time your booking allows.

Photography for your Garden elopement or micro-wedding
Tell us whether you want a Garden ceremony and portraits, preparations before it, or a celebration afterward. Compare our current photography packages, then discuss the time, travel and access your Garden plans need.
Planning consultations focus on the photographs: where coverage begins, which moments matter most, how to gather the group and how much time to leave for portraits and travel. Garden reservations, venue fees, any required permits and other wedding arrangements have their own costs and booking processes.
What would you like the photographs to hold?
Your ceremony and your people
The exchange between you, the reactions of the guests and the embraces afterward. Share a short list of family photographs so we can plan them within your reserved time.
Time together in the Garden
Paths, trees and open views can give the portraits variety. We choose a manageable route around the areas available to your booking, the light, your walking preferences and the conditions on the day.
The celebration beyond the Garden
A meal or reception elsewhere in Brooklyn can become the next chapter. Include transport and the second venue’s access in the coverage discussion, as Martha and Tyler’s full story illustrates.
Choose your Garden booking before shaping the photo timeline
Brooklyn Botanic Garden has different arrangements for a ceremony-only wedding, a separate portrait session and a catered wedding. The booking you choose determines the schedule, permitted areas and group arrangements; a photography booking with Elope Me does not reserve the Garden.
BBG currently offers ceremony-only weddings on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 9 a.m. and ending by 10 a.m. Portrait photography is included within that ceremony reservation; photography after 10 a.m. requires a separate portrait permit. A photo-only permit has its own session and application rules.
For a larger catered wedding, discuss the venue and event plan directly with BBG’s catering team. The spaces and arrangements for that event should not be assumed to come with a ceremony-only or portrait booking.
From your Garden plans to a photographic plan
Tell us what you are booking
Share your date or date range, the type of Garden reservation and where things stand with BBG. Include your guest count and any celebration planned elsewhere.
Choose the moments to cover
Discuss ceremony photographs, portraits together, family groups and any preparations or reception. We shape the scope around those priorities and your venue’s actual time limits.
Confirm the route and details
Once the bookings are in place, agree the meeting point, access, travel and outdoor weather arrangements. Tell us about mobility needs so the photo route can account for them.
Before you choose your Garden photographer
Can you photograph a Brooklyn Botanic Garden elopement or micro-wedding?
Yes. Martha and Tyler’s micro-wedding shows our Garden ceremony and portrait photography. Tell us about your proposed date and BBG reservation so we can discuss availability and the photographic coverage for your own plans.
How much does the photography cost?
Compare our current photography packages and tell us whether you want the Garden ceremony and portraits or more of your day photographed. THE MICRO-WEDDING is $5,200 for up to 6 hours of photography, from getting ready and your first look to vows and celebration dinner. Garden reservations, permits, catering and other wedding arrangements are separate.
Does hiring Elope Me include a Garden reservation or photo permit?
No. Arrange your venue booking and any required photography permission with BBG. A ceremony-only reservation includes portraits within its reserved period; a separate photo session or photography afterward has different rules. Confirm the conditions attached to your own reservation.
Can we include our reception somewhere else?
Tell us the second venue, travel time and moments you want photographed so we can discuss the coverage. Martha and Tyler’s collection includes their Garden ceremony and portraits followed by a reception at a separate Brooklyn venue.
What if it rains or the blossoms are not at their peak?
The Garden’s ceremony-only and portrait-session arrangements are outdoors, with different weather terms. Confirm those terms with BBG and discuss your photographic plan with us. Flowering depends on the season and weather; we do not promise a particular blossom backdrop.
